Procedure to send and open confidential emails in BigPond
BigPond users can send emails and attachments with Confidential
mode to call bigpond email help nmuber

limits on what the email recipient can do with the email received like setting
an expiration date, requiring a passcode for email access or prohibiting the
mail from being forwarded.
When receiver receives the mail,
they also get a notification about the limits set on the mail received.

your recipients from sharing the mail by mistake, but a malicious program may
enable the recipient to copy its contents or attachments.How to
do it?
Confidential mode is not available
in classic BigPond mode. Confidential mode is especially helpful for users in
Professional and Educational Institutions.
- Login to your BigPond account.
- Select Compose
- On the bottom right, select Turn on Confidential
mode.

If the confidential
mode is already activated for a confidential mail, go to the bottom of the mail
and then select edit.

Select an expiration
date and passcode. These settings would be applicable to both text content and
attachments in the mail.
- In case you select “No SMS passcode”,
recipients with the BigPond app can access it directly and non-BigPond
users will get a passcode on BigPond.
- In case you select “SMS Passcode”,
recipients will get a passcode by sms. Ensure that you enter the email
recipient’s mobile number and not anyone else’s.

f) Select “Save”.
Removing access early
You can stop your recipient from
opening the mail even before expiration date arrives.
- Open BigPond email
on your system
- On the left corner of the screen, select Sent
- Open the respective confidential mail
- Select remove access.
Opening an email sent in
confidential mode
- If the sender has used confidential mode while sending
the email message:
- Email Recipient can view the text and attachments only
until the expiration date or the email sender removes view access.
- Options to copy, paste, download, print and forward the
text and attachments are disabled by default in the confidential mode.
- If opted for by the sender, recipient might need to
enter the passcode to open the mail
